Scribe marking involves creating markings by means of a carbide or diamond tip that is pressed into the surface. This creates a groove in the material, resulting in a sharp marking.
Scribe marking is a widely-used technique in environments where high noise levels during marking are not permitted. There are options for standard or deep marking. This technique is not suitable for creating a data matrix code.
The scribe marking machines are very well suited for intensive use. They easily produce more than 150 markings per day.
For years, our customers have had good experiences with SIC’s Scribe Marking Machines. There are 2 types of marking machines to choose from. Both come equipped with an e10 control box, which provides you with extensive programming options. These machines can also be programmed or controlled by means of PC.
