Secondary packaging labeling
The secondary packaging contains a number of sales units of a product. The products can be sold to the consumer in a secondary packaging (multi-packs). Often, the secondary packaging has a logistical function, such as keeping the individual sales units together. The secondary packaging is also referred to as outer packaging.
On the secondary packaging, you will often find information such as what product is contained in the packaging, the number of units and the like. Different information is found on the secondary packaging label than, for example, on primary packaging. Outer packaging also comes in large sizes.
