When designing the Hawk, attention was paid to increasing ease-of-use and optimising the printer’s print functions. As a result, the machine has the following new features:
The revolutionary iAssure technology detects printing errors immediately after printing. A sensor looks at the negative image in the printer ribbon. This is compared with the coding assignment. Deviations are immediately detected and a stop or reject can be activated after a pre-set number of errors. The technology complements the quality controls you already have in place – iAssure cannot detect all printing errors and cannot read barcodes.

The Zodiac Hawk has an electrically-driven print head. As a result, it works without compressed air. An electric motor moves the print head up and down using Intelligent Motion™ technology.
Not having to use compressed air makes installation easier and reduces energy consumption. An additional advantage is the higher throughput due to use of the electric drive.
