The Scancheck machine has been developed for the automatic inspection of barcodes on tray seal
top seal products. With a capacity of up to 160 products per minute, the system guarantees fast and reliable inspection.
Rejected products are gently blown off the line by an air knife, without damaging the packaging.
This preserves product quality and allows rejected items to be easily reintroduced into the line.

The system is designed for integration into a production line with a tray sealer. Changeover time is minimal. Capacity is approximately 150 products per minute, depending on the product and barcode. The belt speed is adjustable between 25 and 45 meters per minute. All trays should preferably be fed onto the conveyor belt* with the short side leading (SEL). Flow packs require further coordination and depend on the product type.
The system is equipped with two Datalogic barcode scanners that read both 1D and 2D codes, such as EAN, QR, and Datamatrix. A Siemens PLC with Weintek touchscreen makes operation and recipe changes easy.
Operators can quickly adjust settings such as belt speed, scanner delay, and ejection timing. The interface supports multiple languages and, if desired, offers remote diagnostics via EasyAccess 2.0.
Thanks to its robust frame and compact dimensions (960 × 950 × 1670 mm), the Scancheck
fits effortlessly into existing production lines. Two separately adjustable conveyor belts guarantee
stable throughput of various products, while roller support ensures that barcodes on the underside
remain clearly legible.
