Looking for a new labeller
Dekker puts a label on its customised worktops. In 2020, the need arose for a replacement for the labeller used for that purpose. Automator has a wide range of labelers. A labeler was chosen from this range, one that fits very well with Dekker’s production process: a Vulcan tamp apply system. With this design, a cylinder fitted on the Vulcan places the label on the product.
Features of the Vulcan tamp apply system
The Vulcan is a print & apply labeler, in other words a printer and labeler in one. The machine prints the desired coding on the label and places the label on the product.
The Vulcan has, among other things, the following user-friendly features:
- The printing is done just before the placement of the label, so it is very easy to print different information for each product.
- Suitable for short and long production runs.
- Clever design with as few parts subject to wear as possible, which reduces maintenance and downtime to a minimum
