Torus inkjet printer provides printing to outer packaging for Inex

Inex
Inex is a Belgian, family-run dairy products company. At Inex, the love of nature, people and animals always comes first. Delicious dairy products made from meadow-fed cow's milk from their own soil, produced by local farmers. That's what it's all about at Inex.
The meadow milk that is processed at the home base in Bavegem, East Flanders, is of the highest quality. The Belgian milk comes from local farmers who live no more than 100 km from the dairy. The meadow milk is lovingly processed into the most delicious dairy products, such as yoghurt, cream and chocolate milk.

The Torus high-resolution inkjet printer handles the printing on outer packaging
The dairy products that Inex produces must be correctly packaged and coded before they reach the consumer's shopping basket. Both the sales packaging and the collective packaging, also called secondary packaging, must contain certain information. Inex prints the data with a Torus high-resolution inkjet printer on a number of secondary packaging lines. The Torus is a high-quality box printer that is extremely suitable for printing on porous boxes.

Unique feature of the Torus printer
A great advantage of the Torus is that the purge function works with compressed air. Purging, in other words the automatic cleaning of the print head, is important to guarantee the correct operation of the inkjet box printer if it becomes contaminated with, for example, cardboard dust. Because the Torus uses compressed air, this is much faster and there is less time lost than with other inkjet box printers. This rapid means of purging can even be done between two codings meaning no line stops are necessary.
