The family business of Verkuijlen Groente & Fruit is based in Heeswijk-Dinther and specialises in growing, harvesting and processing strawberries, asparagus and cherries. In the 70s they started with a 3-hectare cultivated area. Now they cultivate a good 70 hectares at various locations.

Real-time printing on asparagus packaging
The asparagus is packed in several ways depending on the customer’s requirements. General information is pre-printed on the packaging. The real-time information is applied during packing - here one might think of the best before date and the country of origin. For applying the real-time information Verkuijlen Groente & Fruit uses various models of the ICE Zodiac thermal transfer printer.
